SKILLS (2021-1-EL01-KA220-HED-000023289) is a new project of Inter-Edu which will be coordinated by University of the Aegean from Greece in partnership with Inter-Edu, North Macedonia, Vytautas Magnus University from Lithuania, DARe from Italy and HARGHITA Development Association from Romania. The team will meet for the kick-off meeting on 17th of March 2022.
SKILLS idea is grounded at the necessity to promote environmental sustainability, economic prosperity, and social equity as valid objectives of Circular Economy Model and to approach them accordingly in academic and practice. The main objective of the project is to contribute towards up-to-date skills development of the target beneficiaries by introducing and promoting the concepts of Circular agriculture and Green Growth. SKILLS consortium aims at enhancing and speeding up this change through elaborating a Baseline study in typology and training material composed of practical know-how and a well-structured set of tools that agricultural practitioners can go through and change their mindset and rethink their activities. The project deliverables are Baseline study in typology of agriculture profiles for their strengthened employability, and a set of adult education adjusted training materials in green skills, soft skills (in reference to English language for agriculture purposes and ICT), then agro-food tourism based production and a specifically designed course in circular agriculture. The project deliverables are particularly designed for farmers, agriculture practitioners, adult education practitioners and decision makers, students, academia. During the project life-span two training schools will be organized where the training material developed will also be complemented by participant feedback.
